Public transport, in particular buses, are a vital link for people throughout Meon Valley. Recently Cllr Narinder Bains started a petition to improve buses in Cowplain to help vulnerable people. Many people have commented in villages that there are not enough buses but we need to use them to make them viable. A Conservative Government will be putting a National Bus strategy together to create super-bus networks and an additional £30m to improve existing routes and restore old ones to make sure that no community including rural ones are left behind.
Flick says, "I will campaign to make sure that we have some of that money and work closely with Hampshire County Council and local councillors to help reconnect all our communities."
