Cllr Narinder Bains is supporting Waterlooville Men's Shed to expand their excellent community facility which reaches out to men in Cowplain and surrounding areas. They build any wooden and metal projects - nothing is too small!

World Book day at Winchester Science Centre

On World Book Day at Winchester Science Centre, Patricia Stallard, Cabinet Member for Public Health at Hampshire County Council, met authors Jenny Batchelor and Beth McKeeman as they launched their new books for children: A Wild Walk to School and A Right Royal Adventure.

Southwick & Wickham Branch News

Getting tough on fly tipping!

Both Hampshire County Council and Winchester City Council are cracking down very hard on those people who fly-tip and spoil the environment of the beautiful Hampshire countryside.  To date, all prosecutions have been successful and large fines have been imposed.

Rowlands Castle Branch Annual Dinner

Rowlands Castle Branch brought their 2018 programme of events to a close with a dinner at the local Golf Club. It was an agreeable event, enjoyed by all. George Hollingbery, our MP came and spoke on his work as Minister of State at the Department of International Trade.

Remembrance Sunday in Southwick

On Sunday evening Soldiers from Southwick Park again marched into the D-Day village of Southwick.  Earlier in the day they had marched, led by a Piper, from the Southwick Park camp to St James's Church for the Remembrance Day Service. 

Remembrance Sunday in Denmead

Cllr Caroline Brook said of the day,

"What an amazing turnout from Denmead for the Remembrance parade and service today. So proud to be part of it and lay a wreath at the new memorial. The new tapestry in the memorial hall is stunning."
