Both Hampshire County Council and Winchester City Council are cracking down very hard on those people who fly-tip and spoil the environment of the beautiful Hampshire countryside. To date, all prosecutions have been successful and large fines have been imposed.
Rowlands Castle Branch brought their 2018 programme of events to a close with a dinner at the local Golf Club. It was an agreeable event, enjoyed by all. George Hollingbery, our MP came and spoke on his work as Minister of State at the Department of International Trade.
On Sunday evening Soldiers from Southwick Park again marched into the D-Day village of Southwick. Earlier in the day they had marched, led by a Piper, from the Southwick Park camp to St James's Church for the Remembrance Day Service.
On Friday 26th October we held our Annual Dinner event at The Meon Valley Hotel & Country Club. We were lucky enough to have The Rt Hon Brandon Lewis MP as our guest and speaker for the evening. The event was a huge success and we hope all guests enjoyed their evening.

10th October was World Mental Health Day. Cllr Patricia Stallard, who is the Mental Health Champion at Hampshire County Council, used the occasion to visit the voluntary group who support the Royal Victoria Country Park at Netley.
