Hampshire's First Ever Carers Charter

There are an estimated 133,000 carers currently in Hampshire, helping or looking after a friend or family member on an unpaid basis, and making a huge contribution to communities.

Hampshire's first ever Carers Charter, developed with carers and voluntary organisations, recognises the important role carers undertake, and sets out a series of commitments for how the County Council, and the NHS, will work with carers to support them in their caring role.
