Cllr Patricia Stallard reports, "As your County Councillor I have been negotiating with Hampshire Highways for many months to get the new flashing speed sign in place on the A32 as you approach Wickham from Droxford. That has now been done.

Highway Officers have visited the crossroads [by the Church and Bridge Street] several times and are now drawing up plans to improve traffic flow at that junction. As soon as those plans are finalised I will publicise them but note there will not be traffic lights, nor a roundabout at that location as the aim is to keep traffic flowing [safely] on the A32 and to avoid any build-ups or traffic jams close to the new Shell garage roundabout.

We are also working with the Parish Council to agree a design for "gateway sites" which help to slow down approaching traffic."
