Conservative MP for Meon Valley

Flick Drummond was elected as the Meon Valley Constituency Member of Parliament in the General Election 2019.  She has lived locally for the last 33 years since her parents moved to Meonstoke.  She was a councillor in Winchester and was the MP for Portsmouth South between 2015-2017.  Flick’s husband, was born and brought up in Petersfield and they got married in Bishop’s Waltham. Flick in the House Of Commons - 22nd July

Flick says, "My question during yesterday's Urgent Question on intelligence and security. I wanted to praise the incredible work that those in the security forces do around the world and ensure that they will continue to get the resources they need to keep us safe."

Flick visits Waterlooville High Street

Today Flick visited Waterlooville High street and had a most amazing meeting with a group of architects to look at a vision for Waterlooville.

She said, "Now I am going to try and find some funding for that, because they have some great ideas to put that into in place.

Flick visits Bishops Waltham

Great to see Flick out and about in Bishops Waltham at the weekend, visiting some local shops open for business again!

Coronavirus Testing Update

MP Flick Drummond reports, "Great news - we now have capacity to offer tests to anyone who has to leave their home to work, anyone aged 65 and over who have symptoms, and anyone in their households who are symptomatic. Tests are available across the country."

Wages for furloughed workers

MP Flick Drummond says, "Wages for furloughed employees are now being paid through the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme a week after claims opened.
Payments for claims made on 20th April are in employers’ bank accounts as of today.
